Many Years ago, I was asked what my dream dog would be, I replied, 'a superb head, good angulation, bone, colour and coat, with tons of breed type' ....
.... Allow me to introduce, my pride and joy, 'Caeson'. From the very moment I saw him, I knew he was the one I had been dreaming of for years! His sheer quality and breed type, already so apparent at 8 weeks there was no way I would leave his breeders home without this little bundle.... And I didn't! On the 5th November 2009, Caeson became my future, my soul mate, and now affectionately known by many, as my Prince!
Aged 7 Months we made our show debut together, Caeson showed his socks off, and we came home with our 1st Best Puppy In Show. That was just the start for Caeson, during his puppy career he took home 3 BPIS from Open Level, and from a handful of Championship Shows he took a Best Puppy In Breed and 2 RCC's. Caeson is a consistent class winner, having taken a small rest from Championship Shows to change coat, Caeson came back out and won a further 2 RCC's in 2011. Starting the show season for 2012 he has already brought home 2 RCC's a Dog CC, Best of Breed and Group 4 placing, this from just 4 Championship shows. Piloted by Lisa Bridges in 2013 Caeson only attended 3 show's due to moving house, but in those 3 show's together they achieved 3 first places, a Res CC and a CC and Best of Breed. In 2014 Caeson took his 8th Reserve CC under Judge Mrs Katherine Pearson Smith and then finally in October 2015, at the Akita Association Championship Show, at the age of 6 Years, Caeson took his 3rd and Crowning CC with Res Best In Show under Judge Mr Tom Mathers.
At the age of 6 Years, Caeson is now retired from the show scene, his job as a show dog is done, his job as chief bed warmer continues, which is a job he sure does thrive at. Caeson means the absolute world to me, he's astounded me in all he has given and I know that I would be lost without his companionship.
Year by year, our kennels grow, but one thing remains consistent, and that is the type we have achieved through the careful use of this amazing boy in our breeding program. We are now owned by his 5 stunning children, Ch Baelor, Karma, Kennedy, Faith and Envy. Our future lays in the capable hands of his children, and more recently his grandchildren, Taylor, Travis, Phoenix and Krash. Caeson has laid the most solid foundations for us to build our empire, we will never be able to repay our gratitude to this magnificent dog. We owe you everything Caeson!
Caeson is a fabulous Sire producing puppies of superb type, with each combination Caeson seems to be very dominant in the head type he passes down to his puppies. We are very proud of what Caeson has produced for both ourselves and other kennels, Click here to view a few of Caeson's Progeny.
On the 6th June 2019, my world fell apart, my boy closed his eyes and took his last breath in my arms. On that moment, my world stood still, and all that remained where those few moments with my boy in my arms telling him how much I loved him and that a lifetime with him would not have been long enough. I think myself so fortunate to have been owned by this precious dog of a lifetime. My first Champion and a fabulous producer of Champions. But above all of that, he was my one consistent love, my protector and my best friend for 10 special years. Life goes on without him, but its lost its sparkle, and I lost my best friend that day.
Our Thanks must go to Caeson's breeder, our dear long time friend, Sheena Clark for allowing this super boy to become part of my life. I am sure he has made you as proud as he has made us! A lifetime with this dog, would not be long enough! |
