Savannah is from the first litter of our stunning brindle beauty 'Phoenix' from a litter of 7, consisting of 3 longcoats - we could have happily kept all 4 standard coated babies. Sired by the handsome Italian Import 'Freddie' owned by Cath Gouldson we are super happy with the results of this out cross breeding.
With ample bone and substance we have also achieved fabulous eye shape and colour, dark dental pigmentation, lovely rear angulation, great tail sets and strong head pieces - although differing slightly to what we are used to, we can not say we have been disapointed. Savannah is exceptionally sound, her movement even at such a young age is flawless and she has the most beautiful temperament - We truly couldn't have asked for more from this gamble breeding.
Savannah's Dam is 'Whitewreath From The Ashes' (Phoenix), herself bred from Whitewreath Wat Goes Around with Mabushii who was full litter sister to our Champion Whitewreath Carbon Copy. Phoenix has currently 1 CC with BOS and since taking time out for maternity duties we have been working extra hard to resume her show career with anticipation and excitement.
Savannah's Sire is 'Radio Gaga Samurai My Bear Graecarth Imp ITA' (Freddie), owned by Graecarth Akitas, Freddie was imported from Italy by his owners who in turn bred his Sire Italian Champion Greacarth's Fame who came from Graecarth's Fairy Tail herself a daughter of our Champion Anshee Heads N Tails over Whitewreath and the stunningly beautiful daughter of the only White Champion to White Champion breeding to date in the UK - Sukari's Pretty In Pink for Graecarth who in her time took the Res CC when numbers were at an all time high. Also in Freddie's pedigree we see some influential dogs, such as Ch Ruthdales State of the Art & Rus Ch Tarazo's Bumblebee Triumph Siberia - bringing some much needed fresh blood into our gene pool.

Sadly for us Savannah had a bad experience in the ring and she very quickly decided that showing wasn't for her, which is gutting for us as in many ways she is better than her mother. We haven't given up hope that we could turn her attitude to being shown around, but equally we would never force a dog to do something they clearly don't enjoy. So for now, we continue to appreciate her beauty at home, where she's most happy. She went on to produce her first litter for us aged 2years and gave us the most beautiful daughter in Paisley. |
