Saffy is another home~bred baby, and what a gal she has matured into, pictured above aged 21 months she is the female version of her sire " Remi ", with the playful,
outgoing temperament of her mum " Pru ". Just like her grand-mother "Can Ch. Matsou De Lauclair of Anshee" and her Mother "Pru" this girl can really move! Saffy is everything we have ever wanted and strived for in this breeding, displaying heavy bone, brilliant colour, an amazing coat and the most stunning head we are extremely proud
of our little girl.

Saffy has an excellent pedigree with predominately American / Canadian linage. Her grand-mother "Can. Ch. Matsou De Lauclair of Anshee" was imported to the UK from Canada by Anshee Akita's in 1998. 'Crystal' proved to be a big hit here in the UK and was named Top Brood Bitch 1999 in the USA. Crystal has produced some amazing puppies in her time and the most successful have to be from the Crystal to Tuffy (Can. Ch. Regalias Trans Fur to Anshee) mating's which produced 11 Champions, including "Brooke's" sire Champion Anshee Fur Ever.

Saffy's grand-sire "CR Regalias Boulderdash to Anshee" was a prolific sire with 3 UK Res CC's 'Stone' has now gone on to gain 2 CC's in Sweden with his new owners MacConrad Akita's. Stone has produced some excellent examples of our breed which are instantly recognisable as 'Stone' babies, he was proudly named Top Sire UK in 2003. Stone was himself sired by one of America's Top Winning and producing males of all time "Biss/Bis Am. Ch. T'Stone Raja Regalia on Buckridge" he has many achievements in the US, holding the title of ROMPX, he was the US Number 1 Akita (All-breed) 2004 and the number 2 Akita (All-breed) 2005.

Saffy's Great Grand-mother "Ch. Anshee Keep The Faith" has to be one of our personal favorites. 'Izzy' was joint Top Akita in 1998 and has produced many Champions and Best In Show Winners. In our opinion she was a lady of true style and a top producer in her own right. She was the 1st UK champion produced by the successful Anshee Kennels of Andy and Sheena Clark, and is behind many of their dogs whom can be seen in the ring today.

Saffy produced a stunning litter for us with 'Minioso Buffalo Soldier cum Jarsdann' (Billy) below is a picture of their Daughter 'Cassie' who is lovingly owned
