Introducing 'Maisey' who is such a strong and powerful bitch with the most stunning head piece with wonderful small and thick ears. She has a tremendous amount of breed type, heavy bone, moderate angles, small well let down hocks and a superb depth of coat. Her most endearing quality has to be her temperament, such a happy and loving girl, yet cheeky with a playful streak.

We were utterly blown away by Maisey's early success in the ring, on her show debut, aged 7 Months, under well respected Judge Mrs Jenny Killilea (Redwitch). Maisey took, 1st Puppy Bitch, Best Puppy In Breed, Bitch CC and Best Opposite Sex! Maisey took time out from the ring to mature and change coats, we hope to campaign her further later in 2011.

Maisey was an opportunity that we simply couldn't justify passing up on. Her Dam 'Honey' comes from a background of dogs I have always admired, some of my all time favorites are behind this special lady, sired by the awesome 'Anshee The Stonemason' (Denzyl) who excelled in breed type. Denzyl himself was sired by another of my favorite dogs 'CR Regalias Boulderdash to Anshee' who is also the sire to our Old Boy 'Remi' and is without a doubt where the beautiful bear type heads come from! There is also my personal all time favorites Ch Anshee Fur Ever, who holds a special place in my heart, and Ch. Anshee Keep The Faith.

Maisey's Daddy is the awesome 'Am. Ch. Dembe's Last Dragon' (Draco) who came to the Redwitch Kennels UK, from Dembe Akitas in the US. Already holding his American title on arrival, he scooped his UK title in three straight shows all with BOB. Draco himself is sired by an outstanding Akita, who certainly made his presence felt in the breed, 'Ch. Redwitch Feel Free to Stare' (JC), the UK's top producing sire of all time within our breed.
